Making our giant milk chocolate turtles is a whole day process. We start by slowing cooking our homemade caramel. Once our caramel is cooked in our copper pot, we pour, cool, then add toasted, salted pecan pieces. Then we begin the process of forming the turtle by scooping each turtle out, flash freezing to allow us to handle each turtle, the finally hand dipping each turtle in delicious creamy chocolate.
This giant turtle is so very good and tasty---------one down and one to share with a very good friend!
